UK Privately Printed 1939 1st Hardback Very Good Slip-case Fair Heavy Book - Postage at Cost
177pp; illus. rough-cut edges, top edge gilt. Book of John Douglas Holland's (1917-1936) poetry written from the age of 14. Presentation copy includes gift card written by his mother, Mrs Lancelot Holland. Illustrated with his paintings. Light foxing to text block and endpapers. A few brown speckles to the cream linen covers with gilt decoration to front, gilt lettering to spine. Cream slipcase is soiled and has split half way along the spine.
