endpapers : leaves at the front or end of a book immediately inside the covers

faded : faded from exposure to light

Fair : Worn book

Fine : Nearly as new with very slight signs of having been read

fore-edge : page-edge that runs parallel with the spine of a book

foxing : brown spots

Good, G : the average used slightly worn book

strong>hinge : inside joint of a book cover

illus : illustrations

Mint : As new

pastedown : leaf pasted to the inside of the binding of a book
