This was all that was published, there was no vol.2. Title page with red decorated border, advertisement page, 7 Plates. pp.281. There are 10 appendices paginated as follows- iii, iv, vi, xviii, xiv, ix, viii, viii, ii, iii. Wear to the edges of the boards and to the leather on front and back boards and corners, spine is largely clean with gilt title and gilt decorations to raised bands.There is some foxing which is largely confined to early and late pages. There is also a little annotation, mostly in pencil, but it is early and if anything adds to the volume. Bookplate of Henry Bower on pastedown. Also bound in is A Topographical History and Description of Bawtry and Thorne with Villages Adjacent by W.Peck (signed copy). Published by Thomas and Hunsley in 1813. Folded map frontis plus 8 plates. pp. viii, 111, ii, xviii (appendices), plus index. 3 mid 19th century newspaper cuttings appropriately inserted in text. A little annotation as with the other Peck. These are both scarce books.
